1) HOW LONG DOES THE BAND PLAY?
A typical job lasts four hours. However, the Wild Knights can and will accommodate you whatever your needs are. Daytime events, in particular, seem to work better at the three hour range. Also, for events that end early in the evening (10:00pm or earlier), it’s not uncommon for the Wild Knights to be asked to play extra because nobody is ready to go home. The Wild Knights main goal is to please the audience so we don't mind extending shows because we love to play and normally when that happens, while it's not required, it's not uncommon for the band to receive a little bonus/tip money so it all works out and is always BIG FUN regardless! We're cool like that.
2) WHAT DOES IT COST TO BOOK WILD KNIGHTS ULTIMATE PARTY BAND?
Most events range between $500 and $2500. You will need to call 954-857-6869 for an exact quote. Cost depends on many factors. The first is if there is any customization of the music/does the band need to spend a lot of extra time preparing for the show. The second is the number of hours required. Other factors that can affect cost include:
3) DOES THE BAND TAKE BREAKS DURING THE SHOW AND HOW DOES THAT WORK?
Like all bands, Wild Knights take breaks. Typically, three 15-minute breaks in a four hour event. However, Wild Knights will work their breaks around your schedule. That is, if you need a longer / shorter period of time for your event (i.e. an award presentation, etc), the band will be happy to accommodate. Also, Wild Knights is happy to provide background music via CD’s, during breaks.
4) WILL THE BAND PLAY A SPECIFIC SONG OR CUSTOMIZE THE MUSIC FOR THE EVENT?
Wild Knights is happy to learn a special song for your event. Usually they can just play it on the spot but if you want it to be perfect or want the entire night to be customized it will require some advance notice and if it is very intricate will affect the price of the band
5) WHAT IF IT'S TOO LOUD?
The band members of Wild Knights have a pro audio and sound engineering background and are concerned about volume and sound quality as well as all other aspects of the performance. Most of our events come from referrals from past clients. For this reason, Wild Knights tries very hard to make sure the performance is exactly as you want. This is the reason for the consultation prior to the event. However, if at any point during the event you would like to see something different, including volume changes, song style changes or whatever it may be, all you have to do is let us know and we will accommodate you. Wild Knights band members are very nice and approachable, even on the night of event. Your satisfaction is our main concern. And you’ll never hear “we can’t turn it down” from us.
6) HOW MUCH SPACE DOES THE BAND NEED?
The typical setup is 12 ft deep and 20 ft across the front to maximize the lighting effects and place the speakers the correct distance apart to get the best stereo sound quality out of the sound system. If your space is limited, Wild Knights are pros that have seen it all and have mastered the art of making it work so that you get the best show and audio possible even if the venue and stage is small.
7) WHAT ARE THE ELECTRICAL NEEDS OF THE BAND?
Ideally, Wild Knights likes to use four 20-amp circuits dedicated solely for band use. The outlets need to be within 20 feet of the stage. In the vast majority of modern facilities, this is not a problem. The issues tend to arise in antebellum homes and outdoor events. Wild Knights can get by with two 20-amp circuits, but that may mean some stage lights and possibly some of the sound system may not be used in order to avoid blowing the breakers/losing all power or damaging our state of the art equipment during the show.
8) WHAT IF I NEED SPECIFIC RECORDED MUSIC FOR MY CEREMONY OR COCKTAIL HOUR AND I HAVE AN MC/SPEAKER?
Wild Knights can help you. For the ceremony or cocktail hour just let us know in advance what you want and we can provide the correct/appropriate music to be played through our sound system and we can work out the logistics and provide the live microphone for use through our PA system for your speaker/MC.
9) CAN YOU DO SPECIAL ANNOUNCEMENTS SUCH AS ENTRANCES?
Wild Knights offers complete emcee services at no extra charge. In addition to handling your special announcements, we keep to your event’s agenda, actively guiding and engaging your guests the entire time we are onstage. For bridal parties, we work with you to ensure proper name pronunciation. In all cases, we discuss your needs ahead of time to ensure that we understand your requirements.
10) CAN I USE YOUR SOUND SYSTEM FOR ANNOUNCEMENTS MYSELF?
We always have a microphone available for you and your guests. Please let us know in advance if you wish to use a microphone far away from the bandstand.
11) WHAT TYPES OF MUSIC DO YOU PLAY?
Wild Knights is very versatile and plays popular music of all styles ranging from the 1950's through today's hits including rock, country, dance, motown, R & B, funk, and blues however we can play any song perfectly if given enough notice (and most of the time can play it well merely through improvisation right on the spot if we've heard it before). Please see the details of our song list and let us know in advance if there is a song that is a must for the event so we can be ready. Our skilled, experienced musicians perform all material with authenticity and precision.

- travel factors (i.e. if the band is asked to play outside of the immediate Atlanta area)
- seasonal factors (i.e. Christmas weekends and New Years Eve tend to be somewhat more expensive)
- day of week factors (i.e. Weekend evenings are prime time. Other days of the week or daytime events can be addressed on an individual basis)
- production factors (Wild Knights has state of the art equipment, but if desired, extra lighting and staging can be provided) OR less equipment may be used for smaller shows.
